To add an SRV record, kindly use the guide below:

1. Login to your cPanel.

Using "_cmaconfig._tcp.xxx.sg IN SRV 0 0 443 prov.xxx.sg" as an example.

2. Once you have logged in, kindly look for "Zone Editor".

Click on "Manage".

You will see all the DNS record for the domain.

At the side of "Add Record" button, there is an arrow. Click on the arrow and choose "Add SRV Record".

3. An entry will appear and you will need to fill in using the following information:

For "Name field" textbox copy and paste "_cmaconfig._tcp.xxx.sg." (without the quotes).

For "Priority" and "Weight", kindly input the value 0

For "Port", kindly input "443"

For "Target", kindly input prov.xxx.sg

4. Click on "Add Record" when all is done and repeat for the rest of the entry needed.

To renew your domain, kindly log in to your billing area here: https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php and refer to the steps below.
 
1. Click on "Domains" tab.
2. Select "Renew Domains".
3. Tick the domain you wish to renew.
4. Select the number of years (eg. 1 year, 2 years etc.) you wish to renew your domain.
5. Click on the "Order Now" button.

Once the above is done, the invoice will be generated for you to renew your domain.
 
Alternatively, you can wait for the invoice to be automatically generated 2 weeks before the due date of your domain.

It takes roughly 7 to 14 days for a domain transfer to complete.

When a domain transfer is in "Awaiting Registrar" status of the process, it means APC's domain registrar is awaiting your current registrar to respond. This can take up to 7 days.

The time frame of the domain transfer process depends on how fast it takes the owner to confirm the transfer and how fast your current registrar takes to accept or reject the transfer.

If you have purchased a domain from us, kindly login to your APC billing account at https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php and follow the below guide to do so.

To elaborate if you have a dedicated IP from APC (for shared hosting/VPS/Dedicated Server) and wish to register a name server, the function you should use is the "Register a NameServer Name" and should use the below information to update both of your nameservers.

Nameserver : ns1
IP Address : 1.2.3.4 (Sample)

Nameserver : ns2
IP Address : 1.2.3.4 (Sample)

However if you wish to modify your name server, the function you should use is the "Modify a NameServer IP" and should use the below information to update both of your nameservers.

Nameserver : ns1
Current IP Address : 9.8.7.61 (Sample)
New IP Address : 1.2.3.41 (Sample)

Nameserver : ns2
Current IP Address : 9.8.7.62 (Sample)
New IP Address: 1.2.3.42 (Sample)

 

For the transfer of your domains, you can transfer after you have created your billing account https://billing.apc.sg/register.php with us.

Once you have created your APC billing account, you may log in to your billing area here: https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php and refer to the screenshots below for the steps on how to transfer your domains to us.

Note that for different domain name extensions there are different costs involved. For more information, please visit our website https://www.domain.sg.

The domain transfer fee will include a one year renewal of the domain name.

Kindly ensure your domains are active and not close to expiring before transferring the domain to APC.

Do note that transfer of domains require you to request EPP/transfer codes from your current registrar and would take 5-7 days to complete assuming your have accepted the verification email from your current registrar.

 

 

All domains purchased from APC comes with DNS Management provided by their respective registrars. To use their DNS Management, you need to use Ascio / WebNIC / Public Domain Registry / OpenSRS nameservers (depending which is the domain registrar for the domain). If you are unsure which nameserver you should use, please email to support@apc.sg to enquire.

Note: If you have Shared/Reseller/DNS Hosting Services with us, it is most likely you are using APC's own nameservers (ns1.apc.sg, ns2.apc.sg, ns3.apc.sg). If that is the case, you should manage your DNS records by going to the DNS editor section of your provided hosting control panel:

When prompt for the nameservers, please use the following accordingly: 

Ascio Nameservers (Ascio Technologies Inc)

ns2.ezydomain.com

Public Domain Registry Nameservers

Once you have made the changes, please allow 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate.

Once the propagation is completed, kindly use the steps below to add your CNAME records etc. under DNS Management: 
- Login to our billing area > https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php
- Click "Domains" > "My Domains"

- Click on your domain. 
- Click on "DNS Management" on the left side of the page and fill in the necessary information the provider has provided you with. Once you are ready, click on "Save change".

Please allow 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate.

To update the contact information of domain name for example "transferdomain.com" please follow the below steps

1. Please login your billing area at https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php

2. Go to "Domain" button and click on "My Domains". 

3. Click on the "Down Arrow" button and select "Edit Contact Information".

4. In this page you can update your contact information such as domain account contact, email address and other information. 

If you have purchased a domain from us, kindly login to your APC billing account at https://billing.apc.sg/clientarea.php and follow the below guide to do so.

Take note after completing the below process, there is a 24-48 hours propagation period.



Kindly select the radio button "Use custom nameserver (enter below)" and enter the nameserver you wish to change to and when you are done, click on "Change nameserver" at the end of the page to save.
